The thing I like most about this photo is its illustration of one of the great precepts of photography: that you can have all the talent in the world (which, frankly, I don't), and all the expensive equipment in the world (which I likewise don't), and a lot of the time all that really matters is luck (those two birds which flew across the frame at just the right time).
